Flavour of the Region
With pristine forests, abundant wildlife, fresh air and snow-capped mountains Banff National Park is known as a banquet for the eyes and soul, but our distinct cuisine is a feast for the appetite.

Known as Rocky Mountain Comfort Food, meals are served in contemporary elegance, sourced from the finest regional ingredients, including local organic produce, acclaimed Canadian cheeses, fresh harvest baking, and wild game meats, fresh fish and famous AAA Alberta beef.

We invite you to a culinary experience unlike any other while in Banff National Park on a culinary tour of some of Banff’s most memorable dining venues.

What to wear: You will spend most of the day indoors. You will need to dress in warm clothes for the brief periods you’ll be outside walking from the motor coach to various venues.

Banff Mountain Culture
Banff National Park continues to be a place of inspiration for artists, painters, photographers and sculptors.  Our long-standing connection with arts and culture is highlighted in the Banff Mountain Culture Tour. Visit Banff’s historic and cultural attractions including the Whyte Museum, Buffalo Nation’s Luxton Museum, and local art galleries.

What to wear: You will spend most of the day indoors. You will need to dress in warm clothes for the brief periods you’ll be outside walking from the motor coach to various venues.

Ice Explore in Johnston Canyon
Hike on steel walkways built into the canyon walls that give an airy view of the canyon below. Travel through prime wildlife habitat on your way to the trailhead, as skilled guides from Discover Banff Tours explain how Johnston Canyon was formed. This popular walk will lead you past the lower falls and to the breathtaking upper icefalls.

Snowshoe
Explore trails and forests on the quintessential Canadian winter mode of transportation ….snowshoes. Guides from White Mountain Adventures will take you on an adventure while sharing their passion for the history and nature of the National Park.

Maximum number of participants: 40

What to wear: Dress accordingly, with winter clothing and warm boots, as you will be outside all day. Snowshoes will be provided.

Cross-Country Ski
Surrounded by the majestic Victoria Glacier and towering mountains, you will embark on a guided cross-country ski excursion at Lake Louise with a Mountain Heritage Guide from the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

What to wear: Dress appropriately for cross country skiing. Skis, poles and boots will be provided.
